Rotational Moulding - Demoulding

The amount of cooling can be critical to this stage. The various parts of the rotational moulding tooling are taken apart and carefully moved away from the moulded product The product is then eased away from the remaining part of the mould tool. At this stage the product is still warm and the plastic pliable, this can assist the machine operators with demoulding but it's their skill that ensures there is no distortion of the final product.

As part of the Amber Quality Control procedures, the product receives a thorough visual inspection, a skilled task requiring concentration and experience.
